First Direct Premium Freight Train on China-Laos Railway Departs from Chengdu

On June 15, a China-Laos Railway international freight train fully loaded with chemical products departed from Chengdu Railway Hub's Chengxiang Railway Station. After crossing the Mohan border checkpoint, the train's cargo was distributed to Vientiane South Railway Station and Luang Prabang Railway Station. This marks the official launch of the China-Laos Railway's full-route direct premium freight service, which will subsequently operate on a stable weekly schedule, providing an efficient logistics channel for Sichuan exports to Southeast Asia.
The train mainly transported chemical products from Yulong Chemical Co., Ltd. in Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. According to the client, "Transporting chemical products via the China-Laos Railway premium train has reduced the total transit time by at least one week compared to previous routes, and consolidation of goods has become more convenient."
The full-route direct premium freight train on the China-Laos Railway follows the "Daily Service" on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and is branded as a "Weekly Service" premium train. Compared to regular freight trains, the premium service offers significant advantages in transport speed and customs clearance efficiency, delivering higher-quality service to customers.
